Οι πασχαλίτσες είναι μικρά έντομα μήκους από 1 έως 10 mm, ακίνδυνα για τον άνθρωπο γι’ αυτό και τις αγαπούν ιδαίτερα τα παιδιά.

Πολλοί λαοί θεωρούν την πασχαλίτσα ώ τύχη και καλό οιωνό. Οι πασχαλίτσες δεν είναι δηλητηριώδης για τον άνθρωπο, είναι χρήσιμες στις σοδειές γιατί τρώνε τα παράσιτα, την μελίγκρα από τα φυτά και ευδοκιμούν οι σοδιές, έχουν ονομαστεί και «σκαθάρια της παναγιάς.»

Οι πασχαλίτσες είναι χρήσιμες για τους ανθρώπους για τις σοδειές του ωστόσο όμως και οι ίδιες κινδυνεύουν να γίνουν τροφή για άλλους οργανισμούς όπως είναι η κάμπια, η λιβελούλα, τα πουλιά, μέλισσες, σφήκες, μυρμίγκια κ.τ.λ. Οι πασχαλίτσες έχουν 6 πόδια και κατά την αναπαραγωγή τους γεννούν πολλά αυγά. Μια πασχαλίτσα λένε προνύμφη τρώει 25 παράσιτα (μελίγκρα)την ημέρα ενώ μια μεγάλη πασχαλίτσα τρώει 50 παράσιτα την ημέρα, γι’ αυτό το λόγο πρέπει στην γεωργία οι αγρότες να προσελκύουν στον αγρό τους πασχαλίτσες φυτεύοντας φυτά που τις ελκύουν.

Οι πασχαλίτσες έχουν μικρό κύκλο ζωής, ζούνε περίπου 6 εβδομάδες.

Σκυλιά και παράσιτα

Ο σκύλος ένα από τα πιο αγαπημένα ζώα του ανθρώπου. Όλα τα παιδιά λατρεύουν τα ζώα και ιδιαίτερα τα κατοικίδια γάτες, σκυλάκια, πουλιά. Τα παιδιά λατρεύουν το φίλο τους όπως τον αποκαλούν. Ο σκύλος είναι ο καλύτερος και ο πιο πιστός φίλος των παιδιών. Τα παιδιά όμως συνηθίζουν να αγκαλιάζουν και να παίζουν πολλές ώρες με τον σκύλο χωρίς να αντιλαμβάνονται τους κινδύνους. Από μικρά τα σκυλιά όταν είναι κουταβάκια πολύ συχνά έχουν παράσιτα και πρέπει να ζητήσετε κτηνιατρική συμβουλή, αυτά τα παράσιτα συνήθως βρίσκονται στα περιττώματα των σκύλων, έχουν μια όψη σαν σκουλίκια σε σχήμα μεγάλου «μακαρονιού» και χρειάζεται θεραπεία με κάποιο χάπι.

Τα κατοικίδια όταν τα έχουμε στο σπίτι χρειάζονται εκτός από την αγάπη μας και την φροντίδα τους. Όταν έχω ένα κατοικίδιο στο σπίτι μου είναι σαν να έχω έναν άνθρωπο ακόμα και οι ανάγκες και η φροντίδα είναι η ίδια όπως και του ανθρώπου, οφείλω να ταϊζω το σκύλο μου να του αλλάζω κάθε μέρα το νερό για να μην κολλήσει μικρόβια. Ο σκύλος ακόμη και η γάτα χρειάζονται το δικό τους χώρο να κοιμούνται το βράδυ, μπορούμε να του φτιάξουμε μόνοι μας ένα χώρο να μένει το βράδυ τις κρύες νύχτες του χειμώνα ή εάν έχουμε την οικονομική δυνατότητα μπορούμε να του αγοράσουμε ένα πανέμορφο σπιτάκι από αυτά που πωλούνται στο εμπόριο.

Τα σκυλιά αλλάζουν τρίχωμα συνήθως κάθε άνοιξη και γεμίζουν όλη την αυλή του σπιτιού τρίχες τις οποίες δεν πρέπει να αναπνεύσουμε. Οφείλουμε να προνοήσουμε για την τρίχα του σκυλιού και να την αφαιρέσουμε πρίν πέσει π.χ μπορούμε να πάρουμε μια αυτοκόλλητη ταινία σας αυτή που χρησιμοποιούμε για να καθαρίσουμε τις τρίχες από τα μαλλιά μας στα χαλιά και να τις καθαρίσουμε από τον σκύλο μας πρίν πέσουν. Αν πέσουν κάτω, με τρόπο πρέπει να τις μαζέψουμε και να πλύνουμε και την αυλή μας.

Όλα τα σκυλιά έχουν τσιμούρια.

Τι είναι τα τσιμούρια;

Τα τσιμούρια είναι ζωύφια τα οποία κολλάνε μέσα στο δέρμα του σκύλου με το κεφάλι προς τα μέσα και το σώμα προς τα έξω και τρέφονται με το αίμα του σκύλου.

Χρειάζεται πολύ μεγάλη προσοχή όταν κάποιος προσπαθήσει να αφαιρέσει το τσιμούρι από το δέρμα του ζώου γιατί μπορεί να κοπεί το κεφάλι. Με απαλές κινήσεις αφού φορέσουμε πρώτα γάντια, βάζουμε σε ένα πανάκι λάδι και το αφαιρούμε σιγά σιγά και προσέχουμε μην κολλήσει στο δικό μας δέρμα.

Εάν σκοτώσεις το τσιμούρι το μόνο που θα δείς είναι αίμα. Το παράσιτο αυτό τρέφεται μόνο με αίμα.
